By downloading, installing, or using Aumora ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GZLighTek ("we," "us," or "our"), a software studio based in Yokohama, Japan.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, GZLighTek grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Aumora on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
Aumora is designed to measure ambient noise levels and provide focus and sleep insights for personal use. You agree to use the App lawfully and not to:
Aumora provides noise level measurements and hearing safety alerts as informational tools only. The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition, including hearing loss or sleep disorders.
The decibel readings, sound classifications, sleep quality scores, and recommendations provided by the App are estimates based on your device's microphone characteristics and may not be clinically accurate. Do not rely solely on Aumora for medical decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for any health concerns.
The snoring detection feature uses on-device sound pattern recognition and is not a substitute for a professional sleep study or medical diagnosis.
The App requires microphone access to function. By granting microphone permission, you authorize the App to access your device's microphone to measure and analyze ambient sound levels. All audio processing is performed locally on your device. No audio data is transmitted to us or any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
If you grant permission, Aumora may write summarized sleep noise data to Apple Health. You can revoke this permission at any time through iOS Settings. We are not responsible for how Apple processes, stores, or uses Health data under Apple's own privacy policy and terms.
The App, including all content, features, design, and underlying technology, is owned by GZLighTek and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. The Aumora name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of GZLighTek.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GZLIGHTEK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (WHICH IS ZERO, AS THE APP IS FREE).
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or address security issues. We may also update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the App or its App Store update notes. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time without notice, though we intend to support it long-term as part of our commitment to our users.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.
